Camping Must-Have: 8 Basic Things You Need

Packing lightly have been a common knowledge when travelling and the same goes when camping. Oftentimes, campers can get carried away while packing that they tend to pack everything. The key factor in packing is to make a checklist and make sure to follow them. I am a camper since I was a kid and I will share to you the basic items I always have during camping.

Tent
Your tent is your home in the wilderness. This protects from the rain, sun and any other harmful elements. Choosing one’s tent is very important and must be considered properly.

Sleeping gear
A perfect sleeping gear will give a wonderful night of sleep to prepare for the day’s activities. Make sure to but sleeping bag and mattress along with it. This items will make you comfortable just like you are in your bedroom

First-Aid
First aid kits is your pharmacy in the wilderness so be sure fill it with all the necessities such as insect repellents, bandages and medicines. First-aid kits can be crucial for your survival in the wilderness specially when you get sick

Communication Device
Although some me disagree for bringing technology along I highly recommend bring a communication devices like cellphone. Bringing one will surely help you in times of emergencies. Be sure to save all the important number like 911 or police station as safety precaution.

Lighting
This will really help a lot during at night. Even our forefathers know the importance of light which lead them to the discovery of fire.

Cooking device
Another important thing to remember is to bring some camping stove. As much as I love campfire, bringing one cooking device will surely make coking very easy. On some campgrounds, camp fire can be prohibited which makes bringing a cooking device a brilliant idea.

Cooler
A well insulated cooler will ensure to keep the food cold. This is a must have for every camping trip because raw meat will be spoiled if not frozen of kept cold.

A good company
A good company to talk to and share the experience is indeed a must-have. So bring your love ones along with the trip. It will surely be fun.
